Missing Bolts Productions presents big stories in little moments – plays and films that are heartbreakingly human, that reject artifice and show humanity at its smallest and fullest. Founded by co-artistic directors Blair Baker and Zac Kline, Missing Bolts is an independent production company devoted to the development and presentation of new works for theatre and film. We closely examine characters searching for the missing pieces in their lives and strive to show real people who are on the journey from lost to found, believing that the most fascinating aspects of life and art are the moments in-between moments.  These are the moments our work celebrates.

Blair Baker

Blair Baker is an actor, theatremaker and writer. She has appeared on Broadway in Stephen Karam's Pulitzer Prize-winning The Humans and David Mamet's Oleanna (u/s Carol). She toured the United States in the First National tour of The Play That Goes Wrong. She played opposite acting legend Ed Answer in Jeff Cohen's The Soap Myth in various concert readings. Other credits include: The Flea Theater, Kansas City Rep and work with The Civilians. Her film First Stop has screened at festivals and can be found on Vimeo. www.blairbaker.net

Zac Kline

Zac Kline is a playwright, theatremaker & filmmaker. His work has been presents in venues ranging from theaters in New York, Los Angeles and London, an apartment on the Upper East Side, the 57th floor of a skyscraper in Philadelphia, and an island in the middle of the Hudson River. He is the co-creator of After Orlando: an international response to the shooting at Pulse Nightclub and 24 Gun Control Plays (NoPassport Press). His short film Pauline has screened at festivals across the country. www.zackline.net
